My advice is to head into recruitment with an open mind and do not be dead set on one specific sorority. Ranking here often is based on which houses sororities mix with and very superficial judgement. Often what you loved on paper isn't where you receive a bid. There are amazing women in each sorority, and there will also invariably be others you can't stand in each house. Yes, some of the chapters will select for very wealthy, coastal PNMs. Others embrace diversity. But it's also a numbers game, so do not be heartbroken when you are dropped a round our two in by chapters you liked. About 1000 girls are trying to match into 13 chapters. Some will drop out by choice. Others will let the process play out until bid day. It doesn't matter who is ranked as a top house, who is mid, and who is bottom. The size of the chapter doesn't matter either. Reputations here are artificial. Find the chapter you feel is the best fit for you and what you want to get out of greek life.
