What do you think are the most important factors that go into the "rankings/tiers"? Everyone says not to worry about rankings and just find a house that fits and has girls that you think you would enjoy being with. I'd like to say that that's what I did. But it's hard not to want to be in a "top tier" sorority. I think the rankings on this website are pretty accurate based on my experience; at least in terms of competitiveness, but I'm not exactly sure why. Everyone I talk with wants to be in a "top" house, but will be okay with a "mid" house, and some have dropped or are planning to drop if they are only able to be in a "low" house. But the thing is, in many cases, girls have said they made great connections at "mid/low" houses, or didn't really love the "top" houses. I know what everyone says - girls can be shallow ... just care about being popular, etc. - but I really don't see that with most of the girls I have met during this process (there definitely are exceptions). I guess I'm asking what the factors are that go into rankings: looks, parties, pgp, community service/charity work, personalities/genuineness/kindness/friendship?
