The Fraternity did not restrict use of the chapter home on a whim. No doubt this was a high risk chapter with ongoing problems. When chapters are like this, they have many advisors from SigEp working with them. There comes a time when the actions of some are putting the entire chapter at risk. If they recruited like individuals, the issues would continue to grow and multiply. Removal from the chapter facility allows the chapter to focus on the cardinal virtues and the best practices of operating a chapter and a Residential Learning Community. This only a temporary measure. This gives all the current members time to graduate and when the chapter returns to the house they (and their traditions) are gone and the train wreck is over. They need to understand this was a drastic measure done to protect Michigan Alpha.
