Phi Delta Theta and Sigma Nu are the two top fraternities. Slightly below them is Sigma Chi, Kappa Alpha Order, and Alpha Tau Omega. These five fraternities are the only “top tier” houses at Maryland. There is a significant gap between them and the next three solid houses, which are Delta Sigma Phi, Zeta Psi, and Lambda Chi Alpha. Aside from these eight houses, the only other semi-relevant fraternities here are Tau Epsilon Phi and Alpha Delta Phi.
