Anyone who tries to "rank" sororities at Southwestern is kidding themselves. Fraternities can be somewhat ranked based on parties and houses, it's still based upon that person's preference, so idk. But there are only FOUR sororities on campus and all of them are thriving. There are mean/nice, traditional/unconventional, right wing/left wing, party girls/socially awkward girls in ALL FOUR of them. Each sorority has little things that give them personality, but anyone who goes here knows that girls usually have friends in multiple, if not all 4, sororities (unlike other schools). We all support each other's events and philanthropy, we have friendly competition and sometimes we don't like an individual but that's not usually based on their sorority. The truth is Greek life is just too small here to truly rank, and we do a pretty good job of getting along (a great job, actually). This website does not in any way reflect the truth about the Southwestern sorority climate. It's probably one hater per sorority sitting behind their computer and spewing mean words all over this stupid website because they didn't get a bid from X or aren't even Greek. Let's remember when we went through recruitment, when all four houses did awesome. No more hate, because who knows who is actually writing these nasty words. Okay, I'm done.
