ya the reality is the mid- and lower-tier frats would rather have a fraction of the potential events with the few "top" houses to say "we only mix with top houses" than to have a full calendar themselves with a variety of sororities. the irony is the social climbing rarely works, the rankings have stayed basically the same for many years
