I'll try to answer what I can. Hopefully some of this helps :) 1. Haven't been told much yet. I doubt it would be one-on-one. Just like you'd want to meet as many actives as possible, chapters want lots of their members talking to girls rushing so we get to know you as well. 2. Once you actually join, tiers don't really matter apart from during recruitment. I can only speak to my personal experience but I've met a lot of really nice Thetas so I don't think they're bad. I don't think any chapter is bad though. Your friend may have said that because they want you to join Aphi. I would recommend getting to know the girls in each chapter and having an open mind during recruitment. Everyone has different experiences. 3. All chapters have their own philanthropies, can participate in other philanthropies, and have girls who volunteer for other organizations. I'd suggest asking about this during recruitment to learn more. And you can look on their social medias or on UBC Sororities website and learn about each philanthropy and see what aligns with what you like to support. 4. Dues are different for every chapter. From what I know it can be as low as $900 and as high as $1300. Usually you pay the most as a new member. It probably depends on the chapter, but my chapter as well as a couple friends in different chapters all pay at the start of both terms, so the cost is divided up between two terms each year. If you struggle financially I'm sure you'd be able to talk to your chapters finance person and there may be some kind of payment plan. They'll try to support you. 5. I think there is an "early bird" price for registering sooner than later. That's really the only benefit for registering now. Regardless of when you register you need to fill out the application and pay the fee. I'm not sure when it is but there is a deadline so make sure you do it before then. If you have any other questions feel free to ask or you can DM chapters! I think I speak for all chapters when I say we want it to be as easy as possible for you!
