Suggest networking in your dorm and meeting people. The issue is that at some houses COB might not be advertised on social media and would be invite only via friends of friends etc. Meet as many folks as you can and network yourself. Figure out what houses might be a good fit for you and work it. Some houses will post on their social media about COB but other won't. Sorry you missed the deadline as this networking is going to be a challenge but you can make it work.
