Let’s clear up some things in this thread. Yes only nine chapters are participating in formal recruitment this year. And yes this could be one of the biggest years for PNMs. But that does not mean rush will automatically be more competitive. Panhellenic adjusts quota and release numbers each year to help ensure PNMs are matched fairly and every chapter gets a balanced class. The Big Three talk is mostly opinion. Some people claim certain chapters are more competitive but that changes depending on who you ask. There is no official ranking and every chapter has strong, involved members and great sisterhood. Recruitment is about finding the right fit for you not chasing a label. Pledge class sizes are usually similar across chapters but not always exactly the same. The final number depends on how many PNMs rank a chapter and how many matches it receives. Chapters with strong retention may take fewer new members if most of their members stay active through graduation. Bottom line is you do not need to stress over the so called top houses. There are amazing women in every chapter and plenty of opportunities for leadership involvement and friendship.
