Something like $250-$500K spent by alums on the house last year, and about a 20-man Fall 2015 pledge class is not "struggling" for a mid-sized house. AXP is doing fine, and is one of the good middle houses. ATO is doing fine, has a very strong, active and prestigious alumni base, and is one of the good large houses. SAE was in the same boat until recently, remained one of the most prominent houses on campus, and are as strong as ever. Also doing fine. Before you bash, consider this - if those 3 houses were gone, your house might be the next target.
