you can go through rush, it has been done. And recently. And if guys in current houses find out you were a TKE, they will certainly understand your desire to re-affiliate. Historically, half the fraternities were started by men who were previously in other fraternities. Trust me, you can do it, it's no big deal, and it will be the best decision you make at UofI. Joining a good TKE chapter at another school for one year, should not punish you to be a member of a crappy chapter for the rest of your college career. As we say at Uof I - If you can't go Greek, go Teke.
