It is NOT weird to rush no matter WHAT grade you are in. Joining a sorority, and even meeting girls in ur PNM group, is a very nice and fun way to make more friends imo. HOWEVER I am going to be honest and say it is typically untraditional to rush as a junior or senior, but this does not mean it's bad. The girls in your PC will be a bit younger than you but normally girls that get in as upperclassmen end up gravitating towards the upperclassmen in their house and meshing and hanging out with them. Also note: Some houses are going to prefer that you live in for a year. So as long as you join as a junior and have no problem living in senior year, that's not an issue. But, I know some houses don't require upperclassmen who have just joined to live in, so it depends on each house :) If ur a senior that wouldn't apply :)
