Yeah Beta was never #1. They have a cool house and tended to pledge athletic kids from families with at least some money. They were one of the most popular with girls. But in no way were they #1. They were not really involved on campus. It's not just about being good looking (Pike was #1 anyway) or having money (Sigs/Delts/ATO historically #1). Look Beta was a good house and the guys I met were cool, but they were maybe #5, or #3 at best at any given time.
