Well, they don't look at you through a fresh lens if they remember you, honestly, because they're going to remember a general impression you made on them> However. it's possible they cut you the first time because you just didn't stand out to them much, and there's always a chance to make a more lasting impression the second time around. If you did something or said something that seriously rubbed a sister the wrong way (even without knowing it), the opinion likely won't change, but if it's a matter of you just blending in too much with the crowd, and this time you make more of an impression, there can be a different outcome. I would try not to get super discouraged if you even end up with the same chapters you did the first time you went through recruitment. Just how a lot can change for you in a year, the same goes for sororities. Keep an open mind about them the same way you would want them to do for you.
