I've heard this same advice from others and it makes sense. And I guess it's great to know that most people DO get bids if they keep their options open. So...let's say you end up with a bid from a "bottom tier" house. I am sure there are awesome girls in all the houses and you can find good sisterhood regardless of rankings. But - how does it affect your social life if you are in a lower tier sorority. Do you miss out on fun events or whatever because only top tier are invited? That's kind of what I assume but this is all new to me.
