The head coach whose conference title team existed only because of his flagrant NCAA recruiting violations? The head coach who then moved on to the NE Patriots while leaving a legacy of cheating at SMU that set off the eventual collapse of the entire football program? In other words, the head coach who threw SMU under the bus for the sake of his own career by causing such a disaster that the program has never overcome? That head coach?
