Idk how to use this site so I hope it works but I have a 3.4, sophomore girl, wasn’t only shooting for top tiers, in fact I liked a lot of sororities that are down to earth and that aren’t as well known and my second rounds I was convinced I killed it with those but got dropped from everyone except one that I’ll leave unnamed but, has an awful rep and I know has no real sisterhood (3 of my friends DAed) and I didn’t want that level of not closeness in a sorority. My small talk skills are decent from serving but I received heavy cuts first rounds which is a lot small talk. I get it if you’re a socially inept mouthbreather, but it’s like... I actually had some good conversations. I don’t post risky pics so that’s not it either. And I’m not bad looking, rude, or unhygienic. I expressed that the main thing I was looking for was a close knit group of girls who did good for the community (having a thon family, philanthropy etc) not just what movies portray and I seriously wanted to prove that greek life is more than partying. How could that possibly be a turn off? I knew a few ppl in each bc sophomore but that didn’t help I guess. Not saying any houses owe me anything but I still have no idea what I did wrong and keep beating myself up over it a week later. If somebody just told me it’d hurt my feelings but at least I’d know.
