Ok here’s the real tea for girls considering going through recruitment. Please read if you are. First off, if you’re on the fence about rushing, do it. It will completely change your college experience and you’ll make memories you can’t get anywhere else at any time if your life. A lot of the stuff on here is very negative comments and a lot of people bringing down greek orgs. This is a small group of people hiding behind a screen and doesn’t represent real greek life. When you’re actually in a sorority, as long as you are somewhere where you can really picture yourself giving with the girls, you will be happy. The “tiers” really don’t mean anything. If you’re in AGD but all your friends are in SDT, no one is going to hate on you for not going SDT. They’ll be happy you found your people. Rutgers Greek life really isn’t big enough for that kind of drama or cattiness. People from all different sororities are friends. I promise you DON’T need to be in zta or phi sig to be cool or to have a good time (not that there is anything wrong with going zta or phi sig) so don’t just drop all of recruitment if they drop you or you don’t see yourself there. Ppl will call this Panhel propaganda but it’s true coming from someone in a sorority.
