Hey!

Poster Message:
I joined late (junior year) and I was debating if it was even worth it anymore. My answer for you is yes! Joining a sorority/Greek life in general has been such a positive influence on my life. I met amazing people, both in my chapter and other sororities but also fraternities. A sorority is what you make of it, if you want to join to be involved, there are countless opportunities to volunteer, take a leadership position, help out with various projects so if you’re lookkng for things to do/leadership opportunities Greek life is perfect for you! If you want to join to make friends, you will me hundreds of men and women in Greek life. Wether it’s through recruitment and your new best friends end up in different sororities, through your own sorority, mixers etc. If you to join be part of a community, that’s what Greek life is. We all support one another’s philanthropies, events, we’re basically a huge family on campus. It’s being able to walk into a classroom on the first day of class, seeing people in letters and knowing that if you sit with them they’ll accept you. Overall, I think go for it. There’s a little bit of everything for everyone in Greek life. It’s as much of a time commitment as you make it. And if you try it out for a semester, a year, and realize it’s not for you, you can always drop. I say live your life without regret, go through recruitment, feel it out. If it’s not for you you’ll find out and then you’ll be without regrets.
