The reason why I personally wouldn’t recommend informal rush is it limits your chances and informally rushing is more a lot more selective and difficult. The reason why formal recruitment is recommended is that you visit and interact with every house. It is better to have 5+ choices of houses rather than 2 houses during informal. Also remember, once you rush a house and they say no, it is extremely unlikely they want you the second time around rushing. I recommend formal rush, why limit your chances and options during informal? 🤔 Plus some houses aren’t interested in informal recruitment or it more difficult to get invited to rush event.
