Don’t listen to the naive person who posted above, they have no idea what the hell they are talking about and they aren’t astute. The poster above lacks common sense, clarity and isn’t rational. Truth told, it is very difficult to get a bid when you are informally rushing. The sororities are looking for 30+ girls for their P.C during formal recruitment. Evaluating the situation, informal recruitment is maybe looking 4-5 girls at most, The odds of getting a bid with 15+ rushing during informal puts you in bad situation. I would recommend doing formal recruitment. Yes, it will be very weird to go back the house that dropped you but it’s only for 40 minutes and you never need to go back after that. Also another piece of advice, if you see someone wearing their sorority letters in a house you are interested in, introduce yourself and say I am interested learning and potentially being part of your sorority..
