Hey! I rushed as a sophomore too, honestly living in a sorority usually costs about the same as living in the dorms, and many are actually less than west campus. Mine costs about 1000 a month but that includes housing, food, and social events/chapter dues. And the houses are amazing spacious mansions that you will never have the opportunity to live in again. If you don't like it you can drop at anytime, all you have to do is write a letter of withdrawal, probably talk to the president and you can leave, they don't force anyone to stay in that doesn't want to. That said, joining a sorority has been the best decision I made in college and my only regret is that I didn't rush freshman year. Good luck! PS. sign up for greek preview in a few weeks, it is a great way to see what the houses are like and get a taste for what recruitment in the fall will be like.
