Top: DKE Elmo Zete…….Hall Feel like people have been saying for years that Hall needs a good PC to reassert themselves within the top 4, yet they’re still there. Don’t see things changing at the top. Lower Top: Phi Psi, SAE These houses lack some of the prestige from the drinking societies (if that’s something you care about) but are otherwise indistinguishable reputation-wise. Regularly compete in rush with the houses above. Fantastic parties and darties, mixers, etc. Tough pledging. Upper Mid: Sig Chi, Chi Phi, McCormick, Beta, SNU SNU has benefited the most from houses getting kicked off in recent years. McCormick wont have their house this year so I expect them to continue dropping. Sig Chi and Chi Phi have been here for years and are staying put. Beta is Beta and competes well within this group. Mid: 128, Theta Chi, DU, Sammy Phi Soc, DSig, Phi Delt, Pi Kapp Crowded section here. UVA is fortunate to have a good number of solid houses for rushees to chose from regardless of legacy status, high school they attended, or how heavily they dirty rushed. FIJI is supposed to get their FOA back, that will help them get back to where they were. There’s always room for movement in this tier come rush. Lower Mid: SERP, KA, Chi Psi, AEPi These houses are fine, not great, not terrible. Chi Psi and AEPi each have their niche. KA is getting their FOA back and will move back up (they were a top house a decade ago). SERP has their house but has struggled for a while. This tier will look different a year from now. Bottom: ATO, Pi Lam, ASig These houses are pretty bad but have rushed well enough in recent years to be taken off of death row. ASig is taking PiKA’s house, so that’ll be a temporary boost, but they wont get to keep it once PiKA comes back. ATO rushed well last year and could move up again if they get similar results. Barely Alive: TDX, Sig Pi, Phi Sig, TKE, SPE, ZBT These houses are all struggling to survive. Would not recommend joining one. I hope SPE is able to get enough rushees to get their house back from Thappa (doubt it). Also hope ZBT gets off the ground. Sig Pi may fold soon. I think TKE already folded.
