Wish I could suggest something to improve the recruitment process for girls that have zero connections, but without being IN a sorority, I can't know the inner workings of recruitment to make suggestions to improve the process. If I were ever able to get into a sorority, I would 100% get involved in the ISC to try to figure out a way to make this process more inclusive. At an excellent university like UVA, it seems there could be a really smart group of young women who could put together a working group on the ISC to brainstorm ways to make rush work better for everybody. Again, when you are excluded from participating, you certainly can't be part of the solution but I certainly met enough kind and caring girls during rush that I can't imagine you all wouldn't want to work to find a better recruitment process.
