if your main interest in joining a sorority is to only be invited to a party at a "top tier" frat...then you really are joining for all the wrong reasons. As other have pointed out, all the sororitys regardless of "rank" will have plenty of parties, mixers, events, etc, and furthermore, there are so many ways around the lists frats use at parties. Not saying the social life isn't a reason to join a sorority, but it shouldn't be the main or only reason.
