I think you can have a successful rush if you are prepared and part of that preparation is to go through with an open mind, looking for connections and things you like at different houses. I can almost guarantee you it will be tough if you have predetermined expectations or a list of certain houses you're "too good for." The truth is the houses have more in common than not, and just as you hope they will give you a chance. you'll want to be open to them.
