Just don't believe this. One of my best friends is at Ole Miss and their rush is 100% more "unfair" than UVA. They have fewer houses and more pnms rushing. You have to have a rec to every house, preferably from an Ole Miss alum. And on top of it they started a new system in fall 2016 where the amount of quota you have is based on rate of return. IOW the top houses took fewer pledges than the bottom houses. They had like 1600 pnms to rush, and the top 3 houses were made to cut 1000 pnms btwm Round 1 and Round 2. Their rush is also in the middle of the semester. So sorry you had a rough rush, but UVA's rush just isn't as "unfair" as Ole Miss, or Alabama.
