With pc’s of 175+ it is competitive to get a spot in the house as a sophomore. Some houses are bigger than others but either way there are more girls that want to live in than space. Some sororities do a first come first served list, some do points, some do points just to get included in a lottery. The good news is you will know by October whether you got a spot in the house so you still have time to look for a place if you did not get in. Just go to every point opportunity that you can and you should be fine. The process definitely separates the girls who want to be involved from the girls who don’t put in the effort.
