this is coming from a girl who joined the house and then dropped out... delta sigma is not like other sororities on campus! since it is local, a lot of girls don't even consider it and will drop it automatically, making delta sigma have to take basically anyone who wants to join. the house has no overall "feel" or "personality", but instead is filled with random girls who still wanted to be in a sorority but didn't get into their house of choice. Most girls end up liking it after a while because they find their friends but overall it really really should not be even in phc. It is unfair that we are all promised bids to sororities and then some of us are forced into a house that isn't even a sorority! (there were girls living there that were not members of the house + no national organization = definitely not a sorority in my opinion). This is nothing against delta sigma, but I want to give girls going through rush the knowledge I wish I had. I preffed delta sigma over a known lower tier house and regret it so much. I had to go all of freshman year without a house and can only rush again now.. just be careful and if it is for you, then enjoy! they have a nice physical house!
