Just an update. My roommate went to counseling and decided to withdraw for a semester. This has been the hardest thing to watch happening and I felt so sorry for her. But leaving now was probably the best option as school wasn't working for her right now either. I guess everyone handles rejection and challenges differently. She had always been top everything in her school and when that didn't happen here she became despondent. :(
