Not sure what all the fuss is about here? Sure the process is hard but getting into cal wasn't easy either, was it? It's like anything else and you need to know people. I had networked all summer through friends and friends of my mom. I got tons of references and had them sent in before Rush. I prefd kkg and piphi and picked kkg as they had a lot of people from my high school and it felt like home. I honestly liked the pi phi folks a bit more but didn know as many people in the house so I went where I knew more people. I'm happy with the result. I met nice people everywhere and could have been happy at any number of houses. Don't understand why someone would drop out at pref.
