UF sorority rush is way more intense than UM because UF is in the SEC, where Greek life is a huge deal. There are actual sorority houses, limited spots, and girls go all out think full-on Bama Rush vibes: outfits, rec letters, Insta-perfect everything. At UM, there’s not even on-campus sorority and way fewer rush compared to big SEC schools at UM Greek life is way more chill. You don’t need to rush to have a social life, and people are super independent. It’s more like joining a club.
