“The frats and sororitys do nothing but codify the underlying reality on the ground.” Not true at all here, maybe other schools, but UM is notoriously bad, and dirty in the worst ways possible. The system here is frankly terrible, not because there are winners and losers or because of superficial people, those are given, but because it’s imbalanced, corrupt, inefficient and miscalculating.
