good to make it to events. Once school starts, but before formal rush starts, fraternities have parties/events that people can come too but its "better" to go to Summer events. It's nice to have a bid or two lined up before formal rush but just because you don't go to summer events doesn't mean you won't get a bid. But, the "top tier" fraternities "fill up" fast, I think SNu had basically its whole class by late June, don't quote me on that though.
