with the two posters above. Also, it seems (to me at least) like you may have a specific fraternity in mind. I would highly recommend rushing different fraternities. Obviously to look at all 30+ would be difficult but narrow it down to 10 or so then go to maybe events for different 5 fraternities or so. The first group may seem awesome but once you can compare it to others you get a feel for the group you want to be in. Personally, I only rushed two fraternities and I got a bid to both but chose the one I liked most. For me, by the second visit I knew it was the place for me, it just felt right. People said I should have looked more places but I have no regrets. I'm not in a "top tier" fraternity but I don't care about status, I love the guys and we really are a family and thats what counts the most to me.
