Don’t hold any preference towards your moms sorority. All sorority’s chapters are different at different schools. You might like phi mu at your moms school and think you’ll fit in there, but that doesn’t mean it’s the same as the phi mu girls at auburn. I did the same exact thing and kept my mom’s sorority until pref and it hit me that I wouldn’t be happy there. Go where you think you’ll fit best and where you feel comfortable. Not what your mom is. If it works out great, if not don’t worry. Everything happens for a reason and you gotta trust the process
