How often do you hang out at the chapter room, or wherever members seem to gather? Do you try to go to every event you can? girls can't make friends with you if you're not there. It IS hard that first year. Is there something like Step Sing that the sorority is working on that you can do? Lots of times the weekend that you do rush workshop is a good time to get to know each other better. Hang in there, show up as much as you can, ask sisters for help studying...it'll happen. things are cemented when you go through the rush prep in the fall. Good luck, dear.
