Found on r/Foreveralone I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to get to the “talking stage” with a few girls (even though nothing came out of it) and just the thought of making anything official with them or anyone gives me horrible anxiety. I can’t imagine having someone meet my parents, or meeting someone else’s parents. Just the thought makes me horribly nervous. I can’t imagine posting pictures of myself being happy with a woman on social media, going places with her, or doing things in public together. I get anxious over basic relationships things that I won’t even ever experience! Maybe I’m just overthinking things, but I’d probably be too much of a burden on any potential significant other to keep them. Being single is probably the only thing I can handle. Anyone else feel this way?
