If you haven’t already, you could send a thank you (you should anyway) which might jog the rec writer’s memory if she hasn’t gotten around to doing the rec. You could include a polite request to let you know when the rev is sent : “ If it’s not too much trouble, would you please send me notification that the chapter received the rec. Again, Ican’t thank you enough for writing a recommendation for me to your sorority. I can’t wait to meet your Auburn sisters!”
