I was a legacy as well when I went through recruitment and I understand that there is a big pressure to please your mom, sister, aunt, etc. but you have to keep in mind that this is your college experience! My biggest piece of advice is to go through recruitment with an open mind and take everything in at each party. Really consider the conversations you have and see if you can see yourself being friends with the girls in the room, because at the end of the day they will be your friends— not your moms or your aunts.
