Yes, please get off this site. But PNMs never listen so here’s my advice. Makes sure you have your outfits planned, down to shoes and accessories. Make sure you look put together and polished. Have the best conversations you can each day. Know you will be disappointed at some point when you get your schedule. Don’t pay attention to the ranks on this site, the opinions of others or tent talk. I thought I knew exactly where I wanted to end up, but I got cut from them on pref. I was devastated, but looking back I really loved the house I ended up in the whole time, but thinking I needed to end up elsewhere clouded my mind a little. I knew my mom wanted me to be happy and make my own place, so I didn’t feel bad when I didn’t love her sorority. Please don’t feel like you have to follow in your mom’s, sister’s footsteps. It’s ok to find your place. Please don’t feel like you need to go where all your high school friends go. This is college not 13th grade. One of my best friends pledged where all the popular girls from high school end up and she hated it at first because she felt like she was just hanging with the same people, doing the same things. She’s happy now, but wishes she didn’t feel like she had to go where everyone expected her to... if you know what I mean. If you’re from out of state, don’t worry, there’s oos girls in every single sorority at Auburn. Don’t pretend like your better than any chapter here. You’re not. There are great girls in every sorority, you will see that when you go through. We know you’re nervous, we are, too. Just relax the best you can and control what you can control... how you present yourself. Good luck!
