Hello ladies and gentleman of UCI Greek Life! I just wanted to make this post to show all of you just how much drama we have within our greek system. I think we can all be in agreement that the best way to determine how much drama a Greek system has is through the discussion section of Greek Rate (because we all know that individual frat/sorority pages are flooded with self-rankers and haters). UCI has a total of 12,208 discussion posts with just 16 fraternities and 9 sororities (12,208/16/9) This is the largest amount of discussion posts out of all of the UCs with Berkeley and UCLA in the 2nd and 3rd spots: UCLA- 5,220 posts 26 fraternities 15 sororities UCB- 3,559 posts 34 fraternities 13 sororities Not only do we more than double the amount of online drama of these schools, these schools have significantly more fraternities and sororities than our school (more people, less drama). The only schools I have found on this site that exceed our level of drama are schools known for their greek life and (surprise, surprise) they have way more fraternities and sororities on their campus. Ole Miss (16,220/22/14) Mizzou (21,860/33/18) University of Texas A&M (18,735/30/18) Ohio State (18,418/38/19) ASU (12,973/33/17) The point of all of this is to show all of you that we have a lot of unnecessary drama within our little greek system at UCI. Can't we all just bury the hatchet and be one unified greek system? Instead of hating each other can't we all just get along?
