Subject:
rushing again as a sophomore

Poster Message:
I rushed last year when I was a freshman. I didn't get a bid from the house I truly want because I was being cut on the 4th day (the day before Bid Day), instead, I got one from a house that was kinda like my second choice because I thought I can fit in well in that house. However, after I went to some of their events, I realized that the house wasn't right for me. I couldn't fit in with my pledge class. After a week or so, I dropped it. Now i'm thinking of rushing again as a Sophomore but is it possible to get into the house that I really want? Are they going to know that I rushed last year and cut me again? Should I rush during this fall or should i just rush in winter? (Since I've already been to all the houses and I know which one I really want) Also, I wasn't really involved in my first year because I focused on my academics and made a lot of new friends (but they weren't in any sororitys) are they going to take me if I wasn't reallly involved in any clubs?
