I'll be honest, there's a chance you missed your shot at being Greek. It depends on how open you are to ALL chapters on campus. Some people who re-rush have new options open the second time around, but more often people do not, and some chapters have a "once cut, always cut" policy. Really ask yourself: what do you want out of a sorority experience? Yes, some houses are a better fit than others, but obviously the chapter you loved didn't think you were a fit there. Others, however, did, and invited you to their preference ceremony where you'd be on their bid lists and potentially their sister. What was so bad that you'd rather just not be Greek than be in those houses? This is real talk because I think you should be very realistic about things if you go again. ALL chapters on campus will give you sisterhood, service opportunities, networking, involvement on campus, game day barbecues, formals, social events, Panhellenic events, etc. If that's REALLY what you want (and not "I want to have prestigious letters"), then you should maximize your options. I know this site tries to draw big distinctions between the chapters, and some have slightly different personalities overall, but chapters are diverse and HUGE, and so you're guaranteed to find people you click with anywhere. I wish you the best of luck in finding a future sisterhood. Be open to ALL options who are willing to give you a shot second time around!
