Even if your friend sees you as a perfect sister you might not get a bid. There are so many other things involved in membership selection and...fact is, the rest of the chapter outnumbers your friend. There is a lot of "trust your sisters" about the process so if you meet 5 or more girls during recruitment who think you are a bad fit, the chapter is likely gonna vote no even if your friend sticks up for you. Sorry truth hurts.
