Hi! A lot of it has to do with if the sister who rushed you can see you fitting into the sorority. For example, I rushed quite a few girls that I absolutely loved. I wanted to be their best friend and take them to get ice cream and cry over boys and watch chick flicks with these girls. But I couldn't see them in my sorority. It wasn't superficial, I just couldn't picture them hanging out in our living room or eating dinner with all of us. It sounds weird, but when we have to process 1700+ girls, we can't spend our time trying to figure out if a girl would fit in when we have hundreds of others we think might work well with our dynamic already. I know it sucks to not get a bid, but it wasn't you. It just means that the sisters who rushed you just didn't see you in their home, fitting in with their sisters.
