I actually did end up dropping out of recruitment because the one house that pref'd me, I couldn't imagine myself in, not because the girls weren't sweet but my heart just wasn't in that one house that pref'd me back. Now, I'm not a "loser" for dropping out of recruitment because I didn't want to devote all my time and money to the chapter I didn't feel right in, and I actually am happy I dropped out at least for this first semester. I am applying for leadership roles in my business college, I took a language placement test today for 2 hours and afterwards thanked my lucky stars I didn't have Preferentials today because I would have not been able to focus on getting into a higher level class. Now, if springtime comes or next fall comes and I really decide I want to rush again, I will. And if I don't, I won't. I'm not a loser either way, and I'm actually better off not doing sorority this year. So just remember that there are other options out there, and to keep an open mind and an open heart :)
