I had originally posted this in response to a post about what type of purse to use during recruitment, but I felt it was worth of it's own topic. PNMs, you're beautiful, kickass women. Collegiates, you need PNMs as much as they need you. And fellow Alumnae, we need to set the example for what strong, successful, independent women look like. Nobody cares what purse you carry during recruitment. Don't carry a Wal-Mart grocery bag, but don't stress about it. Be yourself. When I went through, we didn't have this website and I knew NOTHING about recruitment. Based on what I've seen on this site, I did literally everything wrong: I carried the wrong bag, I didn't do my nails, I had my hair in a pony tail, I talked about how many books I read that summer... I rushed because I wanted to meet some awesome women. And I did. I made some of my best friends and now, TEN YEARS later, we're still very close. Ladies, it doesn't matter what you wear or which house you get into or how big your bag is. Just be your amazing, honest self and you will be with amazing, honest ladies. You don't want a house that doesn't absolutely adore you for who you truly are. I hate seeing this tearing down of other chapters. When I heard this site existed, it broke my heart. As women, we have SO much more to worry about without destroying each other. Be kind to one another. Love to all, A UF Panhellenic Alumnus
