DON'T MISS BID DAY! That's the best day! Frankly it's drop/add week, so nothing happens in class at all, and it's worth missing one or two classes for bid day. Do what makes you comfortable, but my advice would be to not miss bid day. Your schedule will be explained in detail by your pi chis though! Work with them and let them know your concerns and they'll do their best to make it so that your classes won't conflict with prefs rounds.
