I'd say this is pretty accurate except you don't need to spend a fortune on Lilly and J. Crew. I wore Target shorts one round and no one knew the difference. I honestly didn't buy anything new for recruitment and I don't think you'd need to either. If you want to go out shopping by all means do but if you're on a budget like me it's not the end of the world if your shorts are from target. Just make sure lengths and such are appropriate. It's always better to be more conservative.
